Susquehanna Sunrise has finally accepted October 11th at art.gnome.org! It is closing in on 1,000 downloads.
You can get it by going to Susquehanna Sunrise. Note that in Internet Explorer the site doesn't work that well and you have to scroll down the page to get to the download. Click on the Resolution to download the picture.
Finished Setting up ned_lud's desktop, attached is a screenshot of how it looks.
I've just discovered and installed PLY ( Python Lex Yacc ) for constructing compilers.
This seems almost too good to be true. I'm dying to give it a crack at the cinnamon language I've been designing.
I'm so overyjoyed that I decided to do a bit of googling before I fired up flex and bison. This could possibly give me a parser before the beginning of the year, wahoo!
The homepage is here: http://www.dabeaz.com/ply/
Piece of cake to get the new enlightenment installed, and then install entrance. This feels like old times again.
See attached screenshot, and remember this is on my notebook!
With a new version of windows on the way, I thought it was time for me to put in my wish list for the upcoming version of windows. Since I don't now the name I think it's safe to assume that Microsoft will name the release Hedgehog :)
It only consists of one item.
Silence.
I want a preference setting that prevents all normal windows functionality, sounds, background transfers, popup boxes, tooltips, messages, and notifications to be prevented when running in this mode.
If it interferes with sound and video in any way supress it.
Created a new layout for the Cinnamon Schema Designer. See attachment for screenshot. Spent a lot of time thinking about the layout.
Was getting tired of my old desktop theme. So I got to work and came up with a fresh combination.
Metacity Theme: Blended DoubleRound
GTK Theme: Cillop
Desktop Bakground: Haiku ( from Digitalblasphemy.com )
Colors: Transparency colors picked by eyedropper from Haiku Background.
Icon Theme: Pretty Much Custom
See Tree like nature of gtk containers and widgets by assembling form pieces in a tree in Red Dwarf proof of concept.
I got a little more work done on my Schema Designer over the Holiday Weekend. Here is a screenshot.
